Cheesy Ham and Potato Casserole

1 pound ham, diced into 1” cubes

1 bag frozen Southern-style hash brown potatoes

1 can condensed cheddar cheese soup

1 cup sour cream

1 teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon pepper, or to taste

1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

 

In a large bowl, mix together ham and potatoes; set aside.  In a small bowl, mix together soup, sour cream, onion powder, garlic powder, and salt and pepper.  Pour soup mixture over ham mixture and stir, making sure all ingredients are evenly distributed.

 

Pour ham mixture into a greased 9×13” baking dish; cover with foil.  Bake at 375F for 45-60 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.  Remove foil and sprinkle cheese evenly over top; bake an additional 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.

8-12 servings

Left-overs freeze well.
